Because your pets mean so much to you, House Calls Pet Sitting
service is a one-woman operation; the person you meet, will be the
one to look after your pets. For nearly 20 years I have served my
clients with a free pre-care visit in your home to meet the the
pets and their owners. During this appointment I am able to get acquainted with the
pet and listen to how to care for them. This gives the client
complete freedom to decide if I am a good fit for the animals.
I am familiar with all types of pets... from hamsters to horses. Pet
sitting is often a healthier and more comfortable option for your
animals. Dogs and cats prefer their own surroundings when they
cannot be with you. They want to sleep in their own bed, eat their
own food from their own dishes, and look out their favorite window
to wait for your return.
Using a petsitter will also give your home a lived in look even when
no one is home. As a professional, I bring in the mail, switch
lights on and off and open and close the curtains and blinds. All
complementary tasks are included in your pet’s visit … I’ll even
water your flowers. I make sure that your pets and belongings are
safe during my daily visits.
Midday dog walking is a nice option for people with a busy schedule,
and pooches with long days. Your dog will look forward to their
daily "fun"... a walk and some playtime. This can be especially
helpful for a pet that needs practice with housebreaking; or just
gets lonely during the day. Cleaning up accidents, refilling food &
water, and administering medication are all included in a midday dog
walk. Knowing your pooch is comfortable during the day will also
lower your anxiety level, and you will not feel as rushed
worrying if your dog is going to “make it”.
I am willing to work with difficult pets. I often find that a pet is
less aggressive when the owner is not home. I can come by a few
times before you go away to allow your dog to become accustomed to
me. If you think your
needs are too tricky, call me and it may be something I have done
before!
